Helios Center Welcome!
The Helios Center has been serving the greater Menomonie, WI area since 1992. Dr. Linda Capra has utilized Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) as her model of care from the inception of the office. Somato-Respiratory Integration (SRI) was added in 2003 to bring a wholeness to our care model.
NSA and SRI are evolving bodies of health and wellness care developed by Dr. Donald Epstein. NSA has grown from over 100 years of research use of the chiropractic model of health and well-being as coordinated by the spine.
SRI is the practice of exercises that are synchronized with the 12 stages of healing that Dr. Epstein organized in his 1995 book, The Twelve Stages of Healing. These stages and exercises have emerged from years of observation and interviewing people during their healing experiences as well as from world wide stories and practices.
As we change and grow, our work changes and grows. We are committed to becoming real and whole and human. We know this can be a hard and vulnerable experience; we also know that because of this, our life benefits are greater and more joyful than we have ever imagined. We know life is worth it.
